French Parliament voted to approve a bill allowing Same Sex Marriages and Adoption Rights to Gay Couples on 12.04.2013.
Justice Minister Christiane Taubira, a supporter of the bill, said legalizing gay marriage and enshrining adoption rights “is an act of freedom, it is an act of equality, and it is an act of brotherhood”
Notable thing is - France did it despite of the protest by thousands of people in Paris earlier this year in January.
I am pleased that justice has prevailed.
