JUST IMAGINE

Just Imagine

Despite of knowing that you are a gay, you marry a girl because of 'pressure' from society. Although everything is fine still each day after your marriage becomes burdensome because each day you have to act as if you are very much happy and satisfied with your married life. This 'acting' not only goes on in front of family and society but also when you are alone with your wife.

Imagine further

One day you go for shopping with her and suddenly you see something which pierces you heart. You see two guys holding their hands, smiling at each other enter into the very showroom in which you are with her. Even though you are trying hard not to notice them, your eyes are glued to this sight. You know in your heart that they are a couple because your own natural instinct is screaming this. And your heart begin to cry without even asking for your permission. It begins to cry because you no longer allow it the pleasure of loving someone truly. But you are managing somehow trying to concentrate on your 'beautiful' wife.

Imagine furthermore -

That these two handsome guys now come to the counter next to you and your wife is totally busy in her own shopping ignorant of what is going in your mind and soul. They are selecting rings for each other. The reason of this is very much apparent to you. They are fighting over which one is better. One of them hugs the other one and says ultimately, "Jaanu whatever you select for me is acceptable to me!" And a tear almost rolls down your cheek, but you manage to hide it from everyone because years of continued acting has made you an expert by now. The two guys exit the shop after selecting rings leaving behind your troubled and crying heart.

Imagine a little further -

You reach home after finishing the 'job', lie in your bed alone, thinking about the stupidity you have committed on the pretext of 'pressure' from society. Suddenly your mind begin to force you to remember the day which you have tried your best to forget. The day when you not only broke the heart of someone who used to be very special for you but also shattered all his dream pertaining to you under this very pretext of 'social pressure'. Now you begin to ask "Why can't time be reversed to undo the past mistakes?" Then an evil begins to take you in his grip. You begin to ask, "What is stopping me from searching someone now? Yes, I can do that." But it is not long before good sense prevail upon you again. And finally you say, "I have to suffer like this for I have cheated someone who loved me. It wasn't any social pressure which made me do that. It was my own cowardice and now I must get what I have sowed. Yes! I must suffer endlessly like this."

Have you ever tried imagining this? If not, just imagine.
